Dean Lewis is an Australian singer/songwriter. He started playing guitar at 12, and at 16 began writing songs after being heavily influenced by loads of English music, in particular being inspired by Noel Gallagher’s songwriting and The Kooks’ hooky melodies.

Last year, after many years of writing songs with no outlet, a friend was introduced to an indie publisher in Australia and grabbed the opportunity to play one of Dean’s demos. They instantly recognised the beautifully unique tone of his voice and his songwriting talent and he quickly became one of the ‘go to’ songwriters in Australia.

One year on and Dean Lewis has signed a worldwide publishing deal through Specific Music/Kobalt Music Group and is fully focused on releasing his own material with close to 40 finished songs and demos ready to go. He has decided to head to the UK in November to launch his music in the place he feels most at home.
