Racing Glaciers, the 5-piece from Macclesfield, was originally conceived as a one-off collaboration. The band recorded and produced their first EP in just five days in a living room, hit #1 on Bandcamp and started on the road to their now country-wide dedicated fan-base.

Building on their sound, Racing Glaciers released a second self-produced EP “Ahead Of You Forever” in early 2014, which was mixed by Barny Barnicott (Peace, Arctic Monkeys). Tim, lead singer, said “this was the moment when we started to feel like a real band”. The EP was received with critical acclaim, including reviews by Neon Gold, All Things Go and Clash.

2014 has been a life-changing summer for the band. They have played on festival stages across the country, played a packed out support slot at Shepherd’s Bush Empire to thousands of screaming new fans & honed their live sound to a point where they are ready to tour Europe this Autumn.

Always excited about trying new things, the band decided it was time to bring in an external producer for their third EP, Don’t Wait For Me. Jolyon Thomas, having worked with Daughter, Sigur Ros and M83 in the past, has helped to craft the spacious stadium sound that the band have always strived for.
