Tender Central

Tender Central’s debut single Wake Me Up was released earlier this year. The music merges a delicate ear for musical arrangement with notes of electronica that both recall and evolve the sounds of ethereal electronic forebearers Massive Attack, Lamb, Zero 7,Roni Size and more recently London Grammar in its sonic Intent. Favourited by BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart and Apple Music’s Beats1 Julie Adenug.

But Wake Me Up is just the beginning for this Devon born classically trained cellist. With an album’s worth of material in the bank, Tender Central is now heading out on the road joined by drummer Aaron Graham (Banfi).

This lady is no stranger to the road; she has been a core part of childhood friend Ben Howard’s band from the start, releasing platinum and gold selling albums Every Kingdom and I Forget Where We Were and embarking on a monstrous tour that saw them play the world over several years and more recently part of RY-X’s live set up. Now Tender Central prepares to step out with a sound that is all her own.
